Construction Features
The key to a comfortable RV experience is a quality construction standard. Keystone, of course, holds themselves to the very highest standards when it comes to building fifth-wheel trailers. For example, each Montana RV is built with a unified wiring standard, with color-coded cabling to assist with troubleshooting or electronic upgrades down the line. The rear wall is double insulated, and the sidewalls are laminated and built with dual-layered luan and metal backing strips to anchor all interior cabinets.
Towing Features
Keystone has gone above and beyond the make the entire ownership experience of the 2020 Montana RV as good as possible. This holistic approach means that nothing has gone overlooked, including towing functionality. To make the 2020 Montana as user friendly as possible, Keystone has designed this model with a max turn front cap and radius frame, with their patented hitch vision. You’ll get a road armor pin box and exclusive road armor suspension for a smooth ride. Speaking of smooth rides, Montana also comes with 7000lb Dexter EZ Lube axles and self-adjusting brakes. For safety, this model boasts super bright LED tail lights with back up lights, an under-mount spare rite, and carrier, and it’s also pre-prepped for a rearview camera.
Exterior
The 2020 Montana RV from Keystone starts strong with phenomenal exterior features. Before you even enter this excellent fifth-wheel trailer, you’re treated to standout amenities like an LED safety light package, covering critical areas like the entry step, the gooseneck, the upper slide outs, and the sewer termination.
The exterior finish looks superb, and it will keep on looking great for years thanks to the special automotive paintwork. In addition to the specialist coating, the Keystone Montana is also finished with 2 layers of clear coat on the fiberglass front cap. The side and rear walls also benefit from a high gloss gel coat for a beautiful, yet long-lasting finish.
Ensuring that there is always room for life’s essentials, your Keystone Montana boasts an enormous drop frame pass-through storage area when you select the residential living package. For your convenience, the pass-through storage also features motion sensor LED lighting. Another convenient feature you’ll find is that they pass-through compartment doors are of the slam latch type, which helps you keep them open without having to fumble with hooks.
As you prepare to enter Montana, widely regarded as one of the best fifth wheel RV brands, you will encounter the MORyde Step Above entry steps, these sturdy entry stairs encompass a strut assist, and they’re available when you select the residential living package. The entry door itself is also noteworthy – it’s an extra-large portal with a friction hinge. In fact, the door dimensions are 30” x 78” tall, meaning comfortable entry and exit for everyone.
Interior
Living Area
The living area of the 2020 Keystone Montana is a true representation of luxury on wheels. There is an abundance of top-end features that you’ll enjoy for years to come. For starters, the seating is courtesy of Thomas Payne, and it includes theater-style chairs with electric recline function as well as massage and seat warming features. Also from the Thomas Payne Collection, you will find tri fold hide a bed sofa, adding comfortable and convenient berths to your fifth wheel.
Adding to the overall appearance, luxurious backlit crown molding adorns the living space, giving a modern residential feel. Complimenting the crown molding are the residential baseboards, travertine elusion ceiling, and boulder shadow vinyl flooring from Congoleum. The craftsmanship doesn’t stop there, you’ll also get hand made window valance center blocks and a craftsman style slide-out fascia.
There are no shortcuts in the fit and finish here, things like brushed nickel vents let you know you’re in a premium RV, as do the flush-mounted LED lights.

Kitchen
The kitchen in the 2020 Montana RV is jam-packed with top features. It features attractive maple cabinetry, with hand-wiped glazing and hidden hinges for a clean look. The cabinet framing and kitchen island panels also finished in the modern maple. A luxury touch not often found in RVs, Montana boasts a modern subway tile backsplash, too.
Drawers are finished with full extension guides, and there’s a pull out kitchen trash can for a convenient place to store it out of sight.
Your sink benefits from a solid surface, flush mount covers, that match the solid surface kitchen countertops.
One of the neatest features of the kitchen is the pop up electrical and USB outlet tower in the countertop! If that’s not enough kitchen tech for you, you’ll probably also be interested in the LED accent lighting below the countertops, as well as the motion sensor LED lighting below the sink and in the pantry.
For the preparation of meals for your fellow campers, Montana comes with a Furrion Chef Collection cooktop, 9000 BTU oven with auto-ignite, and a 30” over the range microwave.
Bedroom
The bedroom is accessed by an attractive barn door with magnetic latch – the standard features in the 2020 Keystone Montana RV bedrooms are expansive and luxurious. The 60” x 80” queen bed is equipped with a Renovo Sleep memory foam mattress with Feran Ice cover. There are two bedside electrical outlets, perfect for avoiding heated discussions over who gets to charge devices in the bedroom!
If you’re planning to spend extended periods in your Montana fifth wheel, you will be pleased to know that this model is prepped for a bedroom stackable washer dryer setup. Also, to help you keep your RV free of clutter, there’s a vast amount of storage space in the bedroom, both under the bed and in the large closet with available laundry hamper.
Bathroom
No RV can truly be called a luxury RV unless it has a comfortable bathroom. The Montana fifth wheel benefits from a sandstone natural molded vanity top and attractive stainless steel sink. The toilet is ceramic and features power flush technology.
To help you keep the humidity down, there’s a power vent fan, complete with rain sensor.
Keeping things bright, while retaining privacy, the bathroom features an above shower skylight. The bathroom is also packed with storage space – there are a total of three drawers plus a vanity in the washroom, and even a linen cabinet with motion sensor LED lighting.
Entertainment Features
Of course, many campers want to spend as much time as they can outdoors, but if that’s not your thing, or you’re just trying to kill some time on a rainy afternoon, you’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to home entertainment in the 2020 Keystone Montana fifth wheel RV. Standard features include a Jensen DVD player with CD and MP3 compatibility, in addition to Bluetooth connectivity. To make sure you don’t miss the big game or the latest episode of your favorite show, this model features KeyTV satellite prep, an omnidirectional rooftop antenna with 4G LTE and Wifi prep, too.
To complete the entertainment package, Montana also boasts a 32” TV in the bedroom, and a 50” TV in the living room
